It All Started With a Conversation

Sometimes inspiration finds you when you least expect it. The idea for Warrior Queen came to me during a casual conversation with a colleague who was talking about taking his daughter to a Golden State Valkyries game. With all the excitement surrounding the team and the finals, something clicked. Right there in that moment, an idea came to mind. Purple and gold. Two colors. One handcrafted Koncoctions Toddy. What started as an ordinary conversation suddenly became the inspiration for my next creation. And just like that, Warrior Queen was born.

The Inspiration: Purple & Gold

I didn't want to simply create a purple beverage and give it a catchy name. I wanted to capture the excitement, energy, and spirit surrounding Bay Area women's basketball and turn that inspiration into something people could actually taste. Purple and gold became the foundation of the concept, but the flavor had to be just as memorable as the colors. It had to be bold, refreshing, distinctive, and handcrafted with intention.It had to be a Koncoctions masterpiece.

From Imagination to Ingredients

Turning an idea into a finished Toddy takes more than choosing a few fruits that look good together. It's about imagining how different ingredients will complement one another, experimenting with combinations, and finding the right balance of flavor. For Warrior Queen, I wanted the richness of purple fruits to meet the bright, tropical character of golden pineapple.The result is a carefully crafted combination of nine ingredients.

Each ingredient was selected with a purpose: to create a delicious, balanced fruit beverage that delivers the character of Purple & Gold in every sip.

Once the concept began coming together, the name felt like a natural fit.
